What I believe is the best thing that Fullstack Academy teaches is how to work in a group. In the second half of the program, students are given one major project and the final project both done as groups.

Fullstack Academy prides itself on having a stringent application process and only taking students with a certain level of knowledge. However, I honestly think it’s pretty damn easy to get in. I understand that a bootcamp is a business, and taking tuition is how they make money. However, I think Fullstack Academy’s reputation will start to suffer if this keeps going on. I don’t want the school to be just another General Assembly churning out as many grads as possible. General Assembly did just get bought out for $412.5 million earlier in the year, so I guess it does make sense from a business standpoint.

A cover letter should not be longer than one page, and ideally, no more than three or four paragraphs. The examples were very good so the next time I apply for a remote job I will use these suggestioons. To research on the company, essentially stalk them on their social media, website, and anywhere you can. Then in your remote cover letter, subtly highlight these things and how you aim to add value. Also consider emphasizing any times when you spearheaded projects or worked independently. Any of this counts as remote work experience, so add it to your cover letter. If this is your first job and not just your first remote job, use projects you’ve worked on, or a side gig if you have one as the source of your examples.
